MEET AUDIE
Audie Rowell is a sixth-generation Floridian raised in Tallahassee and a lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle. Rowell attended North Florida Christian School and graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology.
Audie began his law enforcement career in 1986 with the Leon County Sheriff's Office after graduating from the Lively Law Enforcement Academy. Throughout his time on the force, Rowell served in a variety of roles, including Acting Executive Co-Chair for the Florida Domestic Security Task Force Region 1, 12 years with the SWAT Entry team, and 8 years as a Vice / Narcotics Investigator. Rowell transferred to Walton County in 2009, where he served 16 years and retired as Chief Deputy in 2025.
Service to the community extends beyond the uniform, including Board President of the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and Board Member of Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers, as well as a member of the Walton County Chamber of Commerce, Capital City Republican Club, Optimist Club of Tallahassee, and many others.
A devout man of faith, Audie has a passion for upholding the traditional, Christian values our country was founded on. His 40 years of service on the force and in the community have given Rowell a uniquely personal perspective to the Panhandle and Big Bend area. He is running for Congress not simply to represent the residents of Florida, but to make sure their values and needs are prioritized in Washington.
Audie and his wife Cheri are the proud parents of four children and have one grandchild who all call the Florida panhandle home.

American families are facing rising costs that make it harder to afford food on the table and homes for their families. Workers deserve the security of good-paying jobs and the confidence that their hard work will provide for their families. However, excessive regulations, high taxes, jobs moving overseas, and corporations driving up housing prices are limiting economic opportunity and financial stability for many Americans.
To strengthen the economy, we must reduce unnecessary red tape and lower taxes so more good-paying jobs can be created and kept here at home. At the same time, housing affordability must be addressed as a national priority. Supporting the efforts of President Trump to prevent large corporations from buying up single-family homes and driving up prices is critical to ensuring American families have a fair opportunity to own a home.
By advancing policies that lower costs, promote innovation, and empower the American workforce, we can reignite economic growth, protect homeownership, and restore opportunity for working families across the country.

America is the greatest nation in the world, founded on enduring principles of faith, freedom, and personal responsibility. Our Constitution reflects a commitment to the fundamental rights of life and liberty, and those values remain essential to preserving the strength of our country.
I support the efforts of Donald Trump to restore American patriotism, reinforce the values that have long guided our nation, and bring common sense back to our schools and communities.
I will always stand firm in protecting the right to life, which I believe begins at conception; defending the Second Amendment; and safeguarding parents’ rights to raise their children according to their values without unnecessary government interference.
By standing strong in our principles, we can preserve the freedoms that make America great and ensure those freedoms endure for future generations.
ENSURE PUBLIC SAFETY & KEEP OUR BORDER SECURE
Public safety is the foundation of a thriving nation. After 40 years in law enforcement, I understand firsthand that safe communities depend on strong, well-trained, and properly equipped officers.
From local law enforcement officers to Border Patrol agents and members of the National Guard, we must fully support the men and women who protect our communities. I will fight for the border security efforts advanced under President Trump to strengthen enforcement and restore order at our nation’s borders.
I will ensure our law enforcement agencies and border security personnel have the funding, resources, and backing they need to do their jobs effectively. Protecting our communities, enforcing our laws, and securing our borders are essential responsibilities of government, and I will always prioritize the safety and security of Florida and our nation.
STRENGTHEN OUR MILITARY & SUPPORT VETERANS
The United States military remains the strongest fighting force in the world, and it must stay that way. The freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution depend on our ability to defend them against threats both at home and abroad. A strong national defense is not optional — it is essential.
I support the military funding initiatives advanced under President Trump to rebuild readiness, modernize equipment, and ensure our service members are the best trained and best equipped in the world. Peace through strength remains a guiding principle in keeping America safe.
But our responsibility does not end when our men and women take off the uniform. Our veterans have sacrificed greatly to defend our nation, and they deserve unwavering support in return. In Congress, I will fight to ensure veterans have access to affordable, high-quality health care, mental health services, job training, and the resources they need to successfully transition back to civilian life.
Honoring our commitment to those who serve means standing with them on the battlefield and at home.
EQUIP OUR CHILDREN & EMPOWER PARENTS
Securing America’s future begins in the classroom. If we want our nation to remain strong and prosperous for generations to come, we must ensure every child has access to a quality education that prepares them for success.
We must protect parents’ right to choose the best learning environment for their children - whether it be public, private or homeschooling - to set them up for success.
Classrooms need to be a place that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and diversity of thought as opposed to environments driven by political agendas. When we have the freedom to learn and explore ideas, innovation ignites, which is how we became the best country in the world in the first place.
By empowering parents, supporting educational choice, and restoring a focus on academic excellence, we can equip the next generation with the tools they need to succeed and preserve the promise of our nation.
